  • See How Batik Is Made

  • Our accessories are handmade in Tanzania of colorfast 100% cotton Batik fabric. The Crossbody Bag materials include the Batik fabric, soft foam padding, fusible interfacing, and polyester lining.

    The Accessory Tote and Waist Pack materials include the Batik fabric, water resistant lining, fusible interfacing, and bias tape to cover all stitched seams.

  • TanzaTōtz Products Care Recommendations

    The Batik fabric is colorfast and only requires a damp cloth, mild detergent and a light touch to clean away soil and/or stains. Allow the item to air dry naturally and do not place in a washer or dryer.

    When your Crossbody Bag is not in use, store in the complimentary Muslin Cloth Bag.

    When your Accessory Tote or Waist Pack is not in use, hang by the sturdy strap or lay flat in a cool dry place.

  • It takes up to 2 weeks to receive your purchase after the order is processed.

    Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your products. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us for a full refund or merchandise credit. Please see below for more information on our return and exchange policy.

    Returns

    All returns must be postmarked within thirty-one (31) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition with original tags and labels attached. Boxed items can be opened, but all packaging must be included.

    Return Process

    To begin the returns process please fill out the Return Form.

    To return an item, place it securely in its original packaging and include your proof of purchase, then mail your return to the following address:

    Please note, customers are responsible for all return shipping charges. We recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.

    Refunds

    After we receive your returned item and inspect its condition, we will process your refund or exchange. Refunds will be sent to your original method of payment.

    Please allow at least fifteen (15) days from our receipt of your item to process your return. Refunds might take 1-2 billing cycles to post to your credit card statement, depending on your bank. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.
